KELLY ROWLAND'S SHEER BLACK BLOUSE: DEF OR DEF NOT?

Hey everyone! If you follow me on twitter, you know that I went on quite a rant when this picture of Ms. Rowland was released. (@_2juicy_ for those of you who don't follow me *shameless plug* haha) We've witnessed this new sex kitten Kelly creep upon us slowly, so slowly that we almost didn't even notice it. There was the racy Vibe and Cosmopolitan covers, the Motivation and Lay it on Me music videos and more cleavage than a christian southern belle would allow. This however, has got to be the noise that started the avalanche; I feel like there is much worse on the way. 

This would be a whole different conversation if Kelly Rowland wasn't talented. Often times we see struggling artists revert to sex appeal as a way to cover up their lack of talent; Kelly has too much of a gift to be showing off her goods as if she has something to prove. 

Didn't any of these celebs learn anything from Toni Braxton and her nude Vibe cover that ultimately ended her career?! 

Can we have this Kelly back por favor? Minus the corny X-factor symbol =]

PLUS SIZE REMIX: KELLY ROWLAND.

Last week, Kelly Rowland rolled through 106 & Park to promote her new album "Here I Am". Lately Kelly has been killing the blogs with her fashion sense, so I was pretty excited to see what she would be wearing. As expected, she delivered; she stepped out wearing a a black mini dress with a a real cute geometric design on the front, along with a metallic cuff and nude pumps. I loved the geometric pattern for two reasons: For one, it's super funky and two, it's very slimming. (Not like Kelly needs to appear any thinner.) In any case, I was feeling this look to point that I HAD to make a PLUS SIZE REMIX version! I haven't done one since Rhi Rhi's all white pant suit so I hope you're as excited as I am. 

The dress I found is from Dorothy Perkins and I felt it had the same slimming effect as Ms. Kelly's mini dress. Although it's a bit longer, it's far from matronly and to be sure of that I added some leopard print heels from Aldo. Nothing says youthful and fly like leopard print haha! I added some more color with a two tone clutch from ASOS ♥ and some flare with over-sized thin gold hoops and stacked bangles. Lastly, an orange-red lip and  goldish-orange finger tips (OPI "the 'it' color")

TREND ALERT: ARE BOOTIES THE NEW SANDALS?

Okay, so I've recently noticed that in a lot of celeb pictures where I'm expecting to see a really cute, strapped sandal or heel.. I'm seeing booties instead. From the casual, on-the-go look to the red carpet, booties seem to be making their presence known! With the exception of Miss Keri, all looks are seen with short dresses or bottoms which I find to be flirty and fun. I'm ♥'n it.

BILLBOARD AWARDS: THE CUTE AND QUESTIONABLE.

As we all know, the billboard awards were on last night and it was actually quite entertaining. From Rihanna's sensual performance of "S&M" to Beyonce's electrifying "Run the World (Girls)" performance and hubby shoutout ♥, there was much to talk about.. or in my case tweet about!
